The Cadillac Three will be hosting a special hometown event in Nashville, TN at the Ryman Auditorium for the first time in their career to welcome their new album Legacy, which is set to be released August 25th.
The title track ‘Legacy’ is an emotional and moving song that singer Jaren Johnston co-wrote with Ben Burgess and Laura Veltz. “Legacy is a song I am super proud of,” Johnston says, “This is the perfect song for where we all are in our lives.” The trio still brought their Southern rock feel to this album, but with more serious themes in the tracks like “Demolition Man” and potential hit single “American Slang.” (Pre-order the album now HERE).
“Humble and Kind” writer Lori McKenna guests on the 11-track collection, which the band recorded and produced themselves. The trio collaborate with McKenna on the track, “Love Me Like Liquor.”
The trio, made up of singer, Jaren Johnston, drummer Neil Mason and lap-steel guitarist Kelby Ray are all natives to the Music City. The Cadillac Three started a summer tour that goes all the way through early fall and wraps up Sep. 29 in New York. The trio made a stop at Download Festival in Paris and Donington, U.K. with Aerosmith and Linkin Park. They are also performing select dates with other country artists like Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Eli Young and more.
