Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are coming back together to make up their duo Sugarland, again. The two presented Duo of the Year to the Brothers Osborne at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night (11/08). New music will be coming soon from via label Big Machine Label Group. The duo were previously on UMG Nashville.
After the awards show, the duo played at BMLG’s after-party where they performed “Baby Girl” and the monstrous hit “Stay.” Nettles and Bush have each released solo music and other projects they have worked on, including Nettles playing Dolly Parton’s mother in the TV movie “Coat of Many Colors” then the Christmas sequel. Bush has been in the studio producing new artists like Lindsay Ell and writing the musical ‘Troubadour’.
Earlier in the year, Bush told The Boot about the two coming back together and when the new music would be released by stating, “That project’s beginning time is really up to Jennifer.”
