Ray Scott discusses his latest album “Guitar For Sale,” which will be available this Friday (June 9th). Scott who has stayed true to his country roots throughout his career uses his music to express the struggles and joys of being a singer/songwriter. Choosing a different producer, Michael Hughes, Scott ventures out to musically experiment with his style on this project.
The album titled track at first wasn’t going to be included on the album because he felt fans who weren’t musicians wouldn’t be able to relate, but what he found out was people did relate to the lyrics in their own way.
“It makes people ask ‘Are you giving it up, are you throwing in the towel?’ and no, no I’m not, I’ve considered it on a bad day.”
