DSW & ELLE Magazine made a stop at CMA Fest on Thursday, throwing an exclusive happy hour for DSW’s March On USA Tour. The event was hosted by DSW’s Style Ambassador, model, actress and fashion influencer Olivia Culpo and featured a special performance by singer-songwriter Danielle Bradbery.
“It was pretty much an organic relationship that started because I love fashion and I love shoes,” Culpo said of her relationship with DSW. “It’s such a great brand with so many options to give consumers that are so accessible and easy to purchase and it was just a really great fit.”
As DSW’s first Style Ambassador, Culpo curates collections monthly consisting of five pairs of shoes.
“This month I had a sandal, a sneaker, a bootie and another flat sandal,” said Culpo of her June style picks. “I just basically wanted to choose staples for people that they can wear season after season in colors that go with a lot of things—so I like to stick with a lot of neutrals like camel, grays, blacks, whites.”
Olivia Culpo’s June “curated shoe edit” for DSW is available for purchase at DSW’s pop up shop at CMA Fest all weekend.
Culpo is a lover of country music, so it’s only fitting that she made a stop at CMA Fest.
“I love country music so being around so much of that is so awesome, I’m fan-girling every 5 seconds and I’ve never been to Nashville,” said Culpo. Her favorite artists include Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Shania Twain, Rascal Flatts, Thomas Rhett, and of course, Danielle Bradbery who joined the party at ACME Feed & Seed.
Danielle Bradbery, fellow fashion lover, was excited to be a part of the event with Olivia Culpo on Thursday.
“I love fashion and I’m trying to get more into understanding it and learning more about it because I know it’s not just what you see on the outside, there’s so much more that goes into it,” said Bradbery.
For an ideal daily outfit, Bradbery said she would keep it fairly simple yet stylish—throwing on a t-shirt, ripped-up shorts and high heels. Bradbery also shared that she was excited to be a part of the writing process of her new music, including her new single “Sway,” released on June 2nd.
“It’s been about three years and I think that three years was just me trying to get to know myself, my music and what it’s gonna sound like so ‘Sway’ is definitely the go-to to introduce the album.”
