As the drama continues to escalate, music is the only certainty for the cast of CMT’s “Nashville.” During tomorrow’s episode, Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) looks to her guardian angel Hanna Lee “Hallie” Jordan (GRAMMY® award-winning singer/songwriter Rhiannon Giddens) as she embraces her new-found faith. Hallie’s enamoring vocals soar as she debuts three new songs: the Tim Laur-arranged “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” and “Sourwood Mountain” as well as the Andrae Crouch-penned “Can’t Nobody Do Me Like Jesus.”
Meanwhile, Juliette’s husband Avery Barkley (Jonathan Jackson) taps back into his artistic side with the angst-filled “Won’t Back Down,” written by Trent Dabbs and Matt Dragstrem. In a rare moment for the new season, the show features Luke Wheeler’s (Will Chase) upbeat, optimistic tune “Wide Open,” penned by hitmakers Dan Isbell, Reid Isbell and Jonathan Singleton. All five songs are now available on iTunes.
