Runner-up of NBC’s “The Voice,” Meghan Linsey will join WSMV-TV’s newly created “Today in Nashville” every Tuesday morning as a special contributor to share her expert opinion and insights on Season 11 of NBC’s “The Voice.” Linsey will commence her debut as “The Voice” correspondent with a live performance on the Hard Rock Stage on Tuesday, September 13.
I am beyond excited to be joining “Today in Nashville” as teir “The Voice” correspondent for the next 15 weeks!” says Linsey. “As a veteran, I obviously love the show and many will find out I also love to talk, so I feel this is such a natural fit. I’m looking forward to watching this new season and weighing in every week!”
Prior to finishing runner-up on Season 8 of NBC’s “The Voice” where she mesmerized viewers with her passionate performances and breathtaking vocals, Linsey achieved chart-topping success as one half of the ACM and CMA-nominated duo, Steel Magnolia. As a seasoned veteran of the popular singing competition, the powerhouse vocalist will return every Tuesday through December 13 to share her expert opinion with hosts Kelly Sutton and Carole Sullivan as Season 11 of “The Voice” unravels.
