Krystal Keith and Lance Carpenter continue to rise with their duet “Anyone Else”
Show Dog Nashville’s Krystal Keith and Lance Carpenter are keeping an aggressive schedule as their duet “Anyone Else” continues its march toward widespread airplay. In addition to a whirlwind national radio promotional tour, Keith and Carpenter have an upcoming performance in iconic Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and a Las Vegas stop on the books.
Set to play the long-running concert and web video series Muscle Shoals to Music Row LiveMarch 22, Krystal and Lance will continue visiting radio stations. Next month, they’ll be in Las Vegas for events surrounding the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards, including radio remote broadcasts. Planning for further performances over the coming months is underway.
Attention continues to build for the labelmates, who met as songwriters before combining to record “Anyone Else.” Called a “sweeping, romantic anthem” by The Boot, the song is quickly winning fans. When a video of an acoustic performance was released, Taste of Country wrote,
“They sing of a one-of-a-kind love on the track, the kind of love that inspires people to do things they otherwise would not … in a stark, stripped-down version that relies on simple acoustic guitars and the pair’s unique vocal chemistry.”
Hit songwriter Carpenter (“Love Me Like You Mean It”) originally found the song and asked his writing buddy Keith – already acclaimed for her Show Dog debut album – if she’d lend vocals to the track. When it was done, managers for both were ecstatic and, eventually, “Anyone Else” led to Show Dog signing Carpenter as an artist.
The music video
is currently in rotation on CMT, the song is available on all major streaming services and it will get its official launch at country radio in the coming weeks.
