Together Kris Kristofferson and Willlie Nelson will perform the Kristofferson-penned No. 1 country hit ‘Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down’ for their fellow Highwayman, Johnny Cash. The song was also performed last week for the Nashville Songwriters Association International’s 50th anniversary celebration at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, to honor each of the 50 Song of the Year winners in its history.

Kristofferson is only one of two songwriters ever to write three NSAI Song of the Year Winners, ‘Sunday Mornin’ Coming Down’ being one of them. The song can be streamed and downloaded at most online outlets here.
