Breakthrough country star Kane Brown has much to celebrate today! Not only has his self-titled debut album been certified Gold by the R.I.A.A, but also his new single, “Heaven,” becomes one of the most-added song at country radio with 55 combined Country Aircheck/Mediabase and Billboard stations on. Add to this that he appeared before millions of TV viewers last week, and he starts off this week by receiving 2017 Rare CountryAwards nominations for “Male Artist of the Year” and “Duet of the Year.”
The follow-up to Brown’s #1 Platinum-certified smash “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina, “Heaven” is one of four new tracks on the Deluxe Edition of his debut album which dropped October 6 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and Top 5 on the Billboard 200. The original Kane Brown album released December 2, 2016, and remains the best-selling debut of a new country artist in the past three years. “What Ifs” held the #1 position on theBillboard Hot Country Songs chart for five consecutive weeks; and, it has been #1 for multiple weeks on the Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales charts. In fact, Kane Brown made history this same week by becoming the first artist ever to take the #1 slot on all 5 Billboard country charts simultaneously – Top Country Albums, Hot Country Songs, Country Airplay, Country Digital Song Sales and Country Streaming Songs charts. Since “Heaven” hit #1 on the Country iTunes chart, solidifying Brown’s track record of having every single, EP, and album the singer/songwriter has released go to #1 on the Country iTunes chart.

Last week, Brown made his CMA Awards debut alongside country superstar Brad Paisley who invited him to perform “Heaven South,” Paisley’s current single. Announced earlier today, Kane Brown is double-nominated for the 2nd Annual Rare Country Awards. Last year’s winner of the “New Artist” trophy, Brown is nominated for “Male Artist of the Year” and “Duet of the Year” for “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina.
