Reigning and current ACM “Entertainer of the Year” nominee Jason Aldean hones in on the emotional reality of a broken heart in the new music video for his current Top 10 single “Any Ol Barstool,” debuting exclusively today with Entertainment Weekly. Directed by Shaun Silva and filmed at a local-favorite Nashville bar, The Dog Tavern, Aldean “is slowing things down with the open-hearted” (Entertainment Weekly) video that follows a relationship in denial, leading to an unsure ending. Filled with Aldean’s “signature grit… studded with steel guitar” (The Tennessean), the third release from Aldean’s No. One selling album THEY DON’T KNOW, “Any Ol’ Barstool” serves as “a throwback to the early music that helped catapult Aldean into the spotlight,” (Forbes).
“This is one of those classic Country heartache songs where the guy is trying to convince his girl that he is fine, but in reality he’s not,” said Aldean. “So, I wanted the video to relay that classic heartache scenario we’ve all been in, but with a little twist which Shaun is always good at.”

“Country music’s hard-rocking everyman” is “the mirror image of his fans” (Rolling Stone) as THEY DON’T KNOW follows on the heels of each album release, earning PLATINUM certification or better, tallying more than 14 million total album sales and 18 No. One hits. The longevity of his career reached new heights as he debuted at the No. One position on Billboard’s all-genre Top 200 Album chart for the third consecutive time with his seventh studio album, which has already produced two consecutive chart-toppers. Aldean makes plans to return to the road with his JASON ALDEAN: THEY DON’T KNOW TOUR, launching in Toledo, OH, on Apr. 27, with special guests Chris Young, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver. In addition to the new tour, the “reigning Entertainer of the Year shows why he holds the title” (Newsday) as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will showcase a special exhibit opening its doors on May 27, commemorating his wide-open sound that has been one of the defining influences on today’s Country Music.
