Produced by Brandon Metcalf, Jeff Catton and Jacob Bryant, Up In Smoke, the new EP from Bryant, debuted at #10 on the iTunes Country Album Chart upon its release Sept. 23, 2016. This marks the fourth EP for the Jasper, Ga. native who plans to release another unplugged album in early 2017.
“I could barely sleep the night before Up In Smoke was released and then I woke up to it debuting in the top ten on iTunes. I have the most incredible fans who get behind anything and everything that I do whether it be a cover video, a new tune or an album. I’m beyond excited to have a full-production video to bring to them for “A Women’s Touch.” It’s something they’ve been asking for. We are set to film by the end of this month,’” explains Bryant.
With over 125,000 social media fans, his videos have been viewed over 1.5 million times and his songs have been streamed over 500,000 on Spotify, Bryant is ready to take his music career to the next level. At 26, Bryant has lived through more than men twice his age and tells his story through country music. Hidden behind his blue eyes and charming smile lies a past of addiction, death, and divorce that have fueled his songwriting and pushed him to track some of his most popular biographical anthems including “Save My Soul,” “This Side of Sober,” “Too Late to Turn Around,” “Country Went to Hell,” and “Up In Flames.”
Bryant grew up in the mountains of north Georgia where he started on the indigenous stylings of his family’s Bluegrass band. It’s hard to imagine the up-and-comer with such a powerful voice once failed middle school chorus because he was too shy to sing in front of people. After the death of his mother in 2010, he experienced a downward spiral into addiction but eventually battled his demons and used singing/songwriting to process his grief. His mother’s dream to see him succeed in music became his own and through that Bryant has continued to play and share his gift. For more information visit the new website at www.jacobbryantmusic.com.
