GarthGarth Brooks made a whopping $60 million over the past 12 months from his ongoing comeback tour which launched in 2014 and has logged 300 dates so far. Forbes Magazine ranked him in the top of Highest-Paid Country Musicians for 2017. The top 5 included Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Dolly Parton, Toby Keith, and Florida Georgia Line. Chesney who has spent the year touring and working with Apple, Corona, and his own Blue Chair Bay rum, came out with $42.5 million. Bryan made his own $42 million with his successful Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Everyday Tour and from his Outdoor Channel reality show Buck Commander. Country sensation, Dolly Parton, spent the year on her 63-cityDollyParton tour. Parton made a solid $37 million with her theme park, publishing, and her tour. Toby Keith and Florida Georgia Line tied it out on $34.5 million from music, touring and other business.

The list reflects a slight decrease in earnings across the top ten earners, from $393 million last year to $366 million in 2017. The difference between this year and last can attribute to some artists playing less shows in the scoring period this year than last.

In 2016, there was only five artists/groups that topped the $30 million mark. This year, nine topped that mark. The list can be viewed here.
