Country entertainer Garth Brooks stopped by Nashville’s historic bar Tootsie’s on Thursday night (08/09) to surprise a singer performing his song “That Summer”. Andy Gibbons is a local singer/songwriter who was on the second floor of the venue when Brooks finished out the song.
Gibbons plays Tootsie’s every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 6 PM-10 PM. It was a normal night for the singer when Brooks pushed through the crowd and jumped on-stage. The collaboration didn’t end after that, as the two continued with “Ain’t Goin’ Down Til’ the Sun Comes Up.” See the performance down below:
Brooks wrapped up his 3-year World Tour in December of 2017 and just debuted his new single “All Day Long”. He’s also set to play for the first time at Notre Dame Stadium and is working on a string of dates to Europe and Australia.
