As summer winds down, superstar duo FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE are soaking up a postcard picture-perfect view during their brand new laid-back jam “Sittin’ Pretty.” The feel-good nod to a sun-kissed romance is the fourth track released off their forthcoming studio album (BMLG Records).
Joining roots-infused “Simple,” which is nearing Top 5 at Country radio, plus high-riding “Colorado” and steamy “Talk You Out of It,” “Sittin’ Pretty” offers another fresh bite of FGL’s evolving catalog. Timed perfectly with FGL’s Brian Kelley’s birthday on Sunday (8/26), his smooth lead vocals complement the buoyant melody as vivid lyrics by Nick Donley, Michael Hardy, and Jake Mitchell, take listeners on an idyllic getaway.
“Sittin’ Pretty” is now available across all major digital retailers. Watch the retro lyric video here.
This Sunday (8/26), the global entertainers are up for their first nominations at the Canadian 2018 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards for Song of the Summer (“Meant to Be” – Bebe Rexha & FGL) and Best Collaboration (“Meant to Be” – Bebe Rexha & FGL). At 38 weeks straight, “Meant to Be” with BEBE REXHA continues to rule the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart (FGL topping for the most weeks at 94 total since it launched in 1958).
Billboard’s Trailblazer Award recipients keep breaking the mold as their inaugural multi-act FGL Fest is slated for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on September 8. The outdoor music event features a revved up lineup spotlighting FGL alongside special guests: COLE SWINDELL, NELLY, RAELYNN, JILLIAN JACQUELINE, MASON RAMSEY, RILEY GREEN, and STEPHANIE QUAYLE. Putting pedal to the metal under Live Nation, FGL Fest coincides with the Big Machine 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Florida Georgia Line race at IMS the following day (9/9). Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster.com, LiveNation.com, and IMS.com.
Kicking their anything-goes style up a notch, they’ll then take over Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino this December for their five-night FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS residency (12/1, 12/5, 12/7, 12/8and 12/11).
