Always delivering to their fans, The Valory Music Co. chart-toppers Eli Young Band celebrated their fifth ACM Vocal Group of the Year nomination with a sold-out crowd last night at House of Blues San Diego.
“We’ve worked hard to make music that counts, and it feels good when you get that nod that says, hey we noticed!” expressed lead singer Mike Eli.
The band won their first ACM Award for Song of the Year with the multi-platinum selling, #1 smash hit “Crazy Girl” and has earned six ACM nominations throughout their career. EYB’s impressive catalog also includes chart-toppers “Drunk Last Night” and “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” garnering the band GRAMMY, CMA, CMT, ACA and Teen Choice Award nominations. Their last album 10,000 TOWNS debuted at #1 on Billboard Top Country Albums chart and landed a coveted Top 5 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
Eli Young Band is currently debuting music – including the refreshing “Saltwater Gospel” – for fans at shows across the country and recording a new album with producers Ross Copperman and Jeremy Stover in Nashville. The band continues to sell out shows on tour, most recently in San Diego, Tulsa, Fayetteville, Dallas and Denver.
The talented quartet will be in attendance at this year’s 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards airing live from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on CBS on Sunday, April 2.
