Martina McBride invites Maggie Rose and Post Monroe on the road for her Love Unleashed Tour in 2017. Lauren Alaina will also join the tour, as announced from the CMT’s “Next Women of Country” event held at the City Winer in 2016. The Love Unleashed Tour will be in partnership with the CMT campaign, for the third annual tour, promoting female country singers.
“We are so excited to include more artists from CMT’s Next Women of Country franchise for this tour,” said Leslie Fram, SVP of Music Strategy, CMT. “It’s a great opportunity for Maggie and Post Monroe to share the stage with Martina and have the opportunity to be on such an amazing tour!”
First launched in 2013, CMT’s “Next Women of Country”continues to grow with confident, fun and talented female singer/songwriters who are taking the country music world by storm. The campaign emphasizes undiscovered female artists and several alumnae – Kacey Musgraves, Brandy Clark, Cassadee Pope and Ashley Monroe included – have achieved both commercial and critical acclaim. Since 2015, the franchise has promoted female-fueled tours at more than 40 dates with Kelsea Ballerini, Brandy Clark, Lindsay Ell, Jana Kramer, Jennifer Nettles and Tara Thompson.
