New artist and winner of CMT’s Music City Madness, Chance McKinney, debuts new song “Take It Back” exclusively here on the NCC. McKinney told us more about the new song and stated, “You could try to pigeon-hole Take It Back as a relationship song, a tempo song, a driving song, a cross-over song.. but you can’t. It’s everything, all at once. I can’t tell you how many times in a day I hear myself (or someone from my team) singing “oh oh oh oh” without even knowing what they’re doing. It sits in your subconscious on repeat, repeat, repeat. I would apologize up front for doing that to people, but can’t.”
McKinney’s previous indie-released album #DownToGetUp created buzz and landed him at #42 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart. His new music release “I” will debut on all digital platforms on May 18th.
Recently McKinney raised over $16,000 in April for the OSO, WA, landslide victims at his headlining benefit concert. You can see Chance on the road by visiting his tour dates here: https://www.chancemckinney.com
