Carrie Underwood was joined by her new label representatives to host a private listening party of the new album “Cry Pretty”. The event was held inside Nashville’s historic venue, Parthenon. In attendance was Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher. The album is being talked about as the singer’s ‘most personal project’ yet. True to form, Underwood chose songs that showcased her pristine vocals but included some lyrical depth on a few songs.
Songs to check out are: “Drinking Alone,” “The Bullet” and “Southbound”.
Underwood co-wrote nine of the thirteen tracks on Cry Pretty and co-produced the album with David Garcia.
