New music keeps being released from Blake Shelton’s upcoming album Texoma Shore. Today’s tune is entitled “Money” which gives a more comical feel in the lyrics. The song was cowritten by Craig Wiseman, James Bailey, and Ryan Ogren, which details a life living on no money but feeling rich with the love of his life instead.
Shelton describes the song via a press release, “This is one of those songs that’s just fun.” Shelton continues, “It’s meant to be fun, it’s ridiculous and it’s Craig Wiseman at his best. This is one of those songs that I’m just thankful that, for whatever reason, Craig [sent to me]. He always sends me a gem over for each one of my albums, and this song I think is special. It has the potential to be remembered for a very, very long time.”
Tomorrow night Blake Shelton will perform for a special Pandora event in Nashville for the release of the new album. Other tunes Shelton has released include his single “I’ll Name the Dogs,” “I Lived It,” “At the House,” and Turnin’ Me On.” Two of the songs are inspired by his relationship with girlfriend rock star Gwen Stefani.
Earlier this week Shelton announced his Country Music Freaks Tour with Trace Adkins, Brett Eldredge, and Carly Pearce to kick off in his home state of Oklahoma in 2018.
